About Us

Our Story

We are a UK-based studio creating small-run textile pieces through a slow, artist-led process. Each work begins in-house, where specialist painters and textile artisans develop surfaces by hand through painting, stitching and traditional block printing using hand-carved wooden blocks.

Our practice is rooted in careful preparation at every stage; from pigment assembly and fabric handling to embroidery, print placement and finishing. No two pieces are identical; slight variations are part of the work and reflect the hand behind each stage.

Produced in limited quantities, each garment is made to hold process, skill and time within the fabric.

What Our Customers Say

Hear from those who have embraced the elegance of Baghini.
Aisha Khan

From the first enquiry, the process felt much more personal than ordering from a conventional atelier. I had reference ideas, but they were developed through conversation into something far more refined. We spoke in detail about colour balance, how much surface detail the fabric could carry, and where hand stitching would best enhance the painted and printed sections. I appreciated that practical considerations were explained clearly rather than simply agreeing to everything at face value.

Ravi Mehta
The finished dress had far more character than anything shop bought. Very happy with it.
Rajendra Limbu
Bristy sent several messages checking proportions, preferred colours and practical details, which made the final result feel very considered. It arrived beautifully finished, with every part looking deliberate and carefully worked.
Araz Uddin
what stood out most was the surface itself: the hand work gives it depth and character that simply cannot be replicated by machine production.
Munzarin Taheera
I wanted something traditional in feeling but not overly formal, and they understood that balance immediately. The final dress had subtle detail that only becomes more noticeable the longer you look at it. It felt very personal rather than something repeated many times before.
Sadia Islam Bonhi
Our consultation meeting was very easy and natural, I never felt pushed into decisions. They asked sensible questions, suggested changes where needed, and clearly knew what would work best once made up in fabric. The quality of the finishing really stood out, especially around the sleeves and edges.
Mafruha Najif Noushin
You can immediately tell how much time has gone into the detailing. Everything was finished very carefully. Rejon and Rajim were amazing!
Muhammad Iftikhar
The embroidery and colour choices worked beautifully together. Would definitely order again.
Umme Sadiya Khatun
Everything arrived exactly as discussed and beautifully finished. It felt very personal. Special thanks to Rejon, Maruf and of course Bristy.
Lamisha Begum
The communication throughout was excellent. I sent over a few reference images and they came back with suggestions that actually improved the idea rather than simply copying it. The hand painting was much finer than I expected, and the dress looked even better in person than in photographs. It felt like receiving something that had real time and skill behind it.
